2018 bought with it another disastrous flood. It wreaked havoc on our farm and destroyed countless trees and crops. We thought about giving back to nature, to appease and replenish her. Amidst the destruction, Project Jeevandaan was born. We decided to hold a fundraiser to raise an amount that would help us plant 50,000 air purifying trees in the vicinity of our farm in Kalyan. Whatever amount we raised, we promised to donate double of that towards the cause. We raised Rs. 80,000/- in a couple of days and successfully planted 10,000 saplings. Some of them were donated to local authorities in Kalyan, Titwada, and Murbad. Each one was given the name of one donor, and we still send the donors pictures of how their trees are doing.
