Bottle Gourd vine belongs to the Cucurbita family that is cultivated for its fruit. A bottle gourd is greenish in colour and has white spongy flesh. It is an excellent low-calorie vegetable that contains high water content, vitamin C, zinc, iron and magnesium. Use bottle gourd to prepare curries, dals, sweets, subzis and more.
