Curry leaves popularly known as kadi patta is a herb that adds more flavour and aroma to any dish. They are mostly used in dals, rasams, sambhar, chutneys, dhoklas, etc. in Indian cooking. It is widely used in Ayurveda for its antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Intake of curry leaves aids in digestion, helps in skincare and is good for diabetes.
Remove the leaves from the stem and wash them. After drying them, store it in the refrigerator.
